As a dedicated professional, Rachel is currently pursuing her Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology (MACP) from Yorkville University. She is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapist of Ontario (CRPO). She has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology further enhancing her understanding of human behaviour and mental processes. She has experience working with adults and youth in crisis and have lived experience navigating and recovering from vicarious trauma.

Cara firmly believes that clients are the experts of their own lives and hold the keys to solving any problems they experience. She is here to help you identify and reach your mental health goals. As an integrative therapist, she uses a person-centred and trauma-informed approach. Building a strong, respectful relationship with a client is essential to their success in therapy; therefore, she works hard to establish a safe and non-judgemental partnership with you, creating a space where you can feel hopeful and optimistic about your journey so that goals can be identified and achieved collaboratively. Models that she finds helpful include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Strength-Based Therapy, and Narrative Therapy.
