Hi all, I could use some help here. My oven stopped heating evenly — one side cooks way faster than the other. I’ve tried adjusting the racks and even tested different bakeware, but the issue persists. Could this be a problem with the heating element or the temperature sensor? Has anyone had a similar issue and figured out what the fix was? I’m debating whether it’s a DIY situation or I should call a professional.

I’ve been reading through this thread because I’ve had my own share of issues with kitchen appliances. It’s frustrating when things go wrong out of the blue, especially with something you use daily. Whether it’s a dishwasher or an oven, these problems always seem to pop up at the worst time. I appreciate people sharing their stories and tips — it's helpful to hear real-life experiences before deciding what steps to take.
I had the same problem last year! My oven was heating unevenly too — one side practically burned food while the other was barely cooked. Turned out the lower heating element was partially damaged. I didn’t want to mess with the wiring, so I called a pro. If you're nearby, I recommend this team for appliance repair north vancouver: https://habitathomeservices.ca/. They fixed it quickly and didn’t overcharge.
